I'm glad that this headache is out of the way. I found this design on ebay some time back - some China manufacturer was selling this and many more really pretty designs. The dresses itself were rather cheap but shipping from China to Australia was ridiculous. Plus I couldn't imagine wearing a wedding dress that arrived via mail.

Anyhoo. I fell in love with this design instantly since I'm a sucker for all things lace. Being the real pasar malam girl, I saved the picture and will soon be on the hunt for fabric and a really good, reasonable (cheap) tailor. The latter would prove harder I suppose.

Hello
So begins this journey towards the wedding day.
I'm very much anticipating this eventful day (though we haven't set the date yet LOL) and this blog is a start to documenting the journey forward. Despite the glee and excitement however I am unimpressed with this money-making industry looking to rip its victims off. Happy are those with money to splurge for they know not the miseries of the dreamy poor...hence the title, uninspired.
And yes, this colourful background, which I went to great pains to learn to put up by the way, is an attempt to somehow change the uninspired me to a bride more optimistic.
Here's hoping the blog title doesn't remain such for long, cheers!
